Water Rights Application Notice (WRAN) Advisory Group
The TCEQ Executive Director created the Water Rights Amendment Notice Advisory Group to offer advice on the type of notice that should be required for water rights amendments after the City of Marshall opinion issued by the Texas Supreme Court.
 

The purpose of the WRAN is to make recommendations to the Commission concerning what type of notice should be required for amendments of different types of water rights.

The Water Supply Division has filed the following five applications with the Chief Clerk's Office:

The City of Marshall and Northeast Texas Municipal Water District have been continued to the Commission's public meeting on Wednesday, September 24, 2008, at 9:30 AM.
