Stage 2 Disinfection Byproduct Rule Compliance TimetablesThe Stage 2 Disinfection Byproducts Rule (DBP2) was adopted by EPA
on December 15, 2005. The rule applies to all community public
water systems (PWSs) and nontransient noncommunity PWSs. Compliance
dates for early sampling start in 2006 for larger systems or
systems that are interconnected with large systems. These tables
are based on the EPA rule.
