If you have an approved pretreatment program, within 60 days
after your Texas Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (TPDES)
permit is issued, renewed, or amended, you must reassess your
existing technically based local limits (TBLLs). The TPDES permit
will contain these types of options:

Within 60 days, submit to the TCEQ Pretreatment
Program a written certification that you have reassessed your
TBLLs. This reassessment must demonstrate that the existing TBLLs
are protecting the POTW and receiving stream. To follow this
option:

Within 60 days, submit to the TCEQ Pretreatment
Program a written notification that new TBLLs will be developed
and submitted to us for review and approval within 12 months of the
date the permit was issued. To follow this option:

You may notify us with a letter or with a completed TBLLs
Reassessment Form.

If you notify by letter, you must enclose a certification
statement that is signed by your POTW's authorized
representative.

If you submit a completed TBLLs Reassessment Form
(TCEQ-20221), the certification statement on the form must be

Any new or revised TBLLs must be submitted along with any
necessary supporting documents no more than one year from the date
the permit was issued.
The TBLLs reassessment documentation and certification statement
need to be:
