Benchmark Monitoring Data Analyses

The Benchmark Monitoring Data Analyses have a deadline of March 31, 2008. Results of data analyses are to be submitted using the form Report of Benchmark Monitoring Data for Storm Water Discharges Associated with Industrial Activity under the TPDES Multi-Sector General Permit (TXR050000) (TCEQ-20091) (PDF). (Help with PDF.)

* Note that not all sectors are required to conduct benchmark monitoring. Those sectors which are required to conduct benchmark monitoring are listed in Part IV Section B of the Multi-Sector Industrial General Permit for Storm Water (TXR050000).

What am I supposed to submit?

For those sectors required to conduct benchmark monitoring:

  • Semi-annual sampling must be conducted at least once during the first full monitoring period (January through June or July through December) following permit issuance, and then once during each monitoring period for the term of the general permit.

  • Results of analyses for sampling shall be submitted to the TCEQ before March 31st of each year.

  • The reported values shall be the average yearly result of analysis for each specific pollutant discharged under a specific SIC code, rather than an outfall-by-outfall basis.

Instructions are provided on the data reporting form (TCEQ-20091). The completed form(s) must be submitted to:
