Nutrient Criteria Development Advisory Work Group

The Nutrient Criteria Development Advisory Work Group (NCDAWG) provides guidance on options available for developing nutrient criteria, strategies for developing criteria, types of criteria, categorization of water bodies, and additional data to collect.

The NCDAWG has become part of the Surface Water Quality Standards Advisory Work Group temporarily. Please check that site for recent meeting information.

Participating in the NCDAWG

The NCDAWG is open to the public. Anyone who is interested in nutrient criteria development may attend and participate in NCDAWG meetings.

This group currently has representation from water associations, agricultural industry, engineering firms, environmental organizations, consumer groups, and government entities.

Upcoming Meetings

The most recent meeting of the NCDAWG was held March 7, 2007. The next meeting has not yet been scheduled. The time, place, and agenda will be posted here when available.
