The Maintenance Startup, Shutdown, and Other Emissions Advisory Group was established in April 2005 by the Texas Commission
on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) Air Permits Division (APD). This group is an open participation group that meets on a periodic
basis.
About This Advisory Group
This advisory group will provide the Air Permits Division with information on the revisions to the permit by rule (PBR)
for:
- maintenance startup,
- shutdown,
- temporary facilities,
- and Title 30 Texas Adminstrative Code Chapter 116.
Specifically, APD will seek advice concerning the authoriaztion of episodic planned or unplanned emissions with certain
restrictions under the PBR and NSR permits.
Participating in This Advisory Group
This group is open to the public; anyone who wishes to join may attend the meeting(s). We anticipate that the group will
consist of consultants, industry, trade associations, attorneys, environmental groups, and the general public.
