About the Advisory Group

This voluntary group provides advice and comment to the TCEQ on its project to improve water quality in Peach Creek. Peach Creek is one of several segments being addressed under a TMDL project to improve water quality in the San Antonio, Guadalupe, and Brazos River Basins. Committee members represent government, permitted facilities, agriculture, business, environmental, and community interests in the watershed. Anyone who is interested may attend meetings of this advisory group. Time is set aside at each meeting for questions and comments from all stakeholders in attendance.

This group advises the TCEQ about its TMDL work for Peach Creek, Segment 1803C. The Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority  is working with the TCEQ on this project. James Miertschin and Associates is the primary contractor for developing the TMDL.

Scheduled Meetings

Proposed public meeting to receive comments from the public on the proposed Peach Creek TMDL:

The date and time of this meeting will be confirmed after April 2, 2008, when the commission decides whether to release the proposed TMDL for comment.
