Stakeholder Group: East Texas Electric Generating Facilities (ETX EGF)

The East Texas Electric Generating Facilities Stakeholder Group is an open-participation group that will meet periodically to discuss concepts of rules in Title 30, Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 117 and to hear the public’s ideas on potential rulemaking projects and the development of Texas’ clean air plan. About the ETX EGF Stakeholder Group

The ETX EGF Stakeholder Group is open to the public; therefore, anyone who wishes to join the group may attend the meetings. The group will meet periodically to discuss concepts of rules in Chapter 117 and to hear the public’s ideas on potential rulemaking projects and the development of Texas’ clean air plan.

Control Strategies

The ETX EGF is one of the control strategies listed on the DFW point source control measures catalog. The point source control measures cataloglists other control strategies being considered for the eight-hour ozone attainment demonstration. Area and nonroad, and onroad control strategies were also considered in conjunction with external control strategy analysis.
