Southeast Texas Photochemical Modeling Technical Committee

The Southeast Texas Photochemical Modeling Committee (SETPMTC) is a TCEQ advisory group organized to assist the agency in addressing technical and scientific issues relating to air quality in the Houston/Galveston/Brazoria (HGB) and Beaumont/Port Arthur (BPA) areas. The SETPMTC includes representatives from industry, county and city government and various environmental groups.

Anyone who is interested in these topics may attend this advisory group’s meetings and participate in the discussion. If you have any question about this advisory group or would like to be added to a mailing list for the group, please send an e-mail to aqp@tceq.state.tx.us with “SETPMTC” in the subject line.

The SETPMTC holds bimonthly meetings to share and discuss technical issues related to the photochemical modeling of air quality. Meeting notifications, agendas and pertinent materials from those meetings will be available on this page.

Meeting Schedule

Meetings are held at the offices of the Houston-Galveston Area Council, 3555 Timmons Avenue Exit the TCEQ Houston, Texas, beginning at 10 a.m. The tentative agenda will be posted on this page one week prior to each meeting.

SETPMTC meetings have been scheduled for the following dates:

  • Thursday, November 20, 2008  (Meeting Time: 1-4 p.m.)
  • Thursday, January 22, 2009: Room C
  • Wednesday, February 18, 2009: Room C
  • Thursday, March 19, 2009 : Room B
  • Tuesday; April 14, 2009 : Room B
