Website Accessibility Policy

At the TCEQ, we are committed to making our website accessible to all users.

To ensure that we comply with state and federal law, we review each new webpage or application for compliance with the World Wide Web Consortium's Exit the TCEQ Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Exit the TCEQ (WCAG). We also review previously existing webpages and applications for accessibility when we make significant modifications to them.

Nonetheless, we still have content produced before these guidelines were developed. We are working to ensure that these older webpages and applications also become accessible.

To Get Information in a Different Format

If you encounter any accessibility issues on our website that prevent you from accessing information, please email the TCEQ web accessibility coordinator at webmaster@tceq.texas.gov, or contact us through Relay Texas Exit the TCEQ.

When you contact us, please be sure to tell us:

  • the nature of your accessibility problem
  • the format in which you prefer to receive the material
  • the web address of the requested material
  • how we can contact you

With this information, we will be able to respond in the most helpful way possible.
