Using the TCEQ’s eFiling System
You can use the TCEQ's eFiling system to electronically submit your Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat PDF documents that may be considered by the commissioners at an open meeting or by the State Office of Administrative Hearings. Note that our eFiling system will automatically stamp the date and time of receipt on all submissions. Also, you must submit documents by the close of business (5 p.m. CST) on the deadline date unless otherwise specified.
eFiling Commission Meeting Documents
When filing documents (including cover letter, mailing list, and attachments) with 20 or fewer pages, you do not need to provide copies to the Office of the Chief Clerk.
When filing documents with more than 20 pages, you must also mail or deliver seven copies to the Office of the Chief Clerk by the required deadline. Include the confirmation number you received by e-mail with your copies.
When filing documents related to a case pending at the State Office of Administrative Hearings (SOAH), filing with the TCEQ is NOT a substitute for filing with SOAH. You must also file copies with the SOAH Administrative Law Judge and the other party representatives in that proceeding.
Filing Confidential Documents
Do NOT use this eFiling system to file documents that include confidential information under 30 Texas Administrative Code Section 1.5. Please read the "Alternative Filing Options" section below the box and choose one of the options to file these types of documents.
