The Chapter 285 Rulemaking Advisory Group is a voluntary group
that offers suggestions about pending changes to state rules that
will incorporate changes to requirements for on-site sewage
facilities.
About This Advisory Group
This is a named advisory group for discussing the inclusion of
HB 2482 (80th Legislative Session) 
in
30 TAC Chapter 285, relating to on-site sewage facilities, and
a petition filed by the Texas
Environmental Health Association and to address a number of definitions and
related OSSF design and enforcement specifics. Questions to the
group focused on the logistics of implementing these topics in 30
TAC Chapter 285, potential effects to the named member group, input
concerning rule specifics and clarification of changes within
Chapter 285.

These meetings were held for the named members only and were not
open for comments and attendance by the general public. The group
was composed of the following participants:

The group met with TCEQ staff from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on
Monday, October 22, 2007, Tuesday, November 13, 2007, and from
9:00a.m. to noon on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at the TCEQ offices,
12100 Park 35 Circle, Building A, Room 202, Austin.
