Laboratories are assessed against the provisions of the 2003 NELAC Standard. (PDF)

The accreditation team uses the 2003 NELAC Quality Systems Checklist (PDF) to determine each laboratory's conformance to the elements of this Standard.

We strongly advise laboratory management to use this checklist to assess the laboratory’s quality systems and documentation before signing the certificate of compliance and submitting the application for accreditation.
