The TCEQ offers exams to persons applying for licensing as Water
and Wastewater Operators; Water Treatment Specialists (WTS), and
Customer Service Inspectors (CSI). Most offices offer the exams one
day each month.
About Exam Scheduling
Exams are offered regularly at most TCEQ regional offices and
the Central Office in Austin. To request special accommodations in
compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, please contact
the Austin Central Office at 512/239-6133.
However, an exam may be cancelled during holidays
and during months coinciding with TWUA regional conferences. Please
contact your Regional Office to confirm exam
dates and times.
Please arrive at your designated exam site on time as scheduled.
Late comers may be turned away. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes
early to allow for time to fill out an application.
An exam may also be offered to be administered at the end of a
training class, with a guarantee that 10 or more exams will be
taken. Please contact your training provider for details.
APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO WAIT AT LEAST 60 DAYS (2
MONTHS) BEFORE RETESTING!!!!!
