The Blue Ribbon Committee for the Texas Environmental
Excellence Awards makes recommendations on the awards to the
TCEQ
commissioners and the governor.
About the Committee
Members review several applications from each of the 11
categories in advance of the committee’s one (and only)
meeting. During the meeting, the committee discusses each
application and has the opportunity to ask questions of TCEQ
technical staff. The committee scores each application and makes
its recommendations to the governor and the TCEQ commissioners.
Members
The members of this committee change each year. Once the 2009
members are identified, a list of them and the meeting schedule
will be posted on this Web page.
