environmental agency for the state. The TCEQ has approximately
2,900 employees, 16 regional offices, and a $566.0 million

program fees ($500.4 million, or 88 percent). Federal funds provide
$43.1 million, or 8 percent; state general revenue provides $11.0
million, or 2 percent; and other sources provide the remaining
$11.5 million, or 2 percent.
